Where do you go when you’re at rock bottom? ‘In the Sh*t’ is an anti-coming-of-age stand-up special with hints of music and poetry. Performed by two of Barcelona’s favorite comedians, Jamie Lerner and Mariah Girouard, who will take you through their sh*tty journeys into adulthood. With a dark sense of humor, they revisit childhood memories, discuss their dating lives (or lack thereof), and analyze their identities as public enemies of the state. This isn’t your typical stand-up comedy show. There will be ukulele songs about death, poetry about cannibalism, and a story or two about literal poo.

Both Jamie and Mariah were featured in Romania’s ‘Stand-Up Revolution’ television series in 2022. Mariah, who hails from Massachusetts won Barcelona’s 2023 Funniest FICer (the funniest comedian award) and opened for Seann Walsh in Jan. 2023. Jamie is a musical comedian from New York City who was recently featured on the official Roast Battle League channel. She performed her solo show in the PIT’s Solocom Festival and took part in the New York Musical Comedy Fest.
