The Kids of Canada

The Kids of Canada is a stand-up comedy show featuring three of Canada’s best young comedians! After two long years of pandemic restrictions, these three 20-somethings from the far-away, exotic land of Ontario, Canada are more than ready to laugh and party with you in one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

This show will feature:

Ben McKay:

At the ripe age of twenty-two, Ben has already accomplished a great deal in his comedy career. His goofy tone and unique perspective have been winning over crowds at comedy clubs, colleges, and bars all over the country. He has been featured at the Guelph comedy festival, is regularly featured on the internationally touring show Tinder Tales, and produces as well as hosts a few of Ontario's most popular independent stand up shows.

Renee Groux:

Since she was nineteen, Renee has been entertaining in the hottest clubs, bars and festivals all across her homeland of Ontario, Canada - and now, at twenty-five and thriving, she’s ready to take Edinburgh by storm! She is the co-producer of Fever Dream Comedy, and a local events host, from trivia to music nights and more. On the stage, her honest and fun-loving style of storytelling promises to bring the laughs. Off the stage and in your earbuds, Renee is the producer and co-host of the comedy trivia podcast, “Double Bluff” - where we teach a lot and lie a little!

& Headliner Andrew Barr:

Andrew Barr is one of the youngest and most recognized national headliners working in Canada. His unique combination of grumpy and silly, he has delighted audiences nation-wide. Never one to shy away from a topic, Barr has a knack for breaking down divisive issues in a way that makes a whole room laugh. These skills have earned him featured performances on CBC's Laugh Out Loud, SiriusXM, The Icebreakers Comedy Festival, the YYC Comedy Festival, Montreal Sketchfest, and iChannel's No Kidding. His debut EP "Rent Money", produced by Comedy Records was released in 2018.
