HYENAS!

The HYENAS are taking you 'OUT OUT' on the Hen do of your life! So Buckle up and suck into that polyester dress! Expect audience participation and crap karaoke, and pray we make it out alive! (*****NorthWestEnd) (AYoungerTheatre)

Written and performed by award winning SUGAR BUTTIES, HYENAS! is a dark comedy jaw dropper. HYENAS! take the audience on a tequila fuelled, anxiety inducing cocaine cat fight! Everybody knows the bride is making the biggest mistake of her life but her 'Friends' are too sh*t faced to care. Lets face it, they're only here for the 'likes' on Instagram and to get away from their fake plastic life. HYENAS is a feminist dark comedy focusing on themes of mental illness, loneliness and the pressures of social media on women today, where everything is documented with distortion.

Sugar Butties has been described as ‘deliciously cheeky’ (A Younger theatre), ‘hilarious and well crafted’ (North West end) and ‘low-brow and brilliant’ (Mumble) with 'sparky dialogue’ (Northern Life)
