Polenta and Sage Take to the Stage

Polenta and Sage Take to the Stage is a fusion of character stand-up and improv comedy with audience participation. We will delve into the worlds of Polenta and Sage, from hilarious sketches such as “when was the last time you cried,” to erratic quick-change dance sections to our very own theme tune. Our content is wacky, bizarre, and semi-improvised, but with clean language and a rule to never “punch down” in our comedy, we believe that this is something that the whole family (as long as they’re quirky enough) can laugh along to. Previously known for vlogging about yoghurts, Polenta and Sage are excited to immerse you in a world of strange fairy-tales, songs, stories and games. Our number one priority is to ensure that you leave feeling like you aren’t quite sure what just happened, but you know that you definitely enjoyed it.

This year we have two entry methods: Free & Unticketed or Pay What You Can
Free & Unticketed: Entry to a show is first-come, first served at the venue - just turn up and then donate to the show in the collection at the end.
Pay What You Can: For these shows you can book a ticket to guarantee entry and choose your price from the Fringe Box Office, up to 30 mins before a show. After that all remaining space is free at the venue on a first-come, first-served bases. Donations for walk-ins at the end of the show.
