Joe McArdle and Theo McCabe are critically acclaimed standup comedians and co-creators of award-winning Fringe comedies Vampire Hospital Waiting Room and Apocalypse Cruise Ship Love Affair. Old friends who’ve improvised together for many years they bring to The Free Fringe a split hour of stand-up comedy topped off with a riotous improvised musical finale.

Comedian Bios

Theo is a writer, composer and improviser. He is the writer and creator of several off-west-end musicals and gigs regularly throughout the UK and Europe with his band Horsey (“Virtuoso” – Three Weeks, “Exceptionally talented” - Broadway Baby).

Joe is a sooty, 60-a-day, son of a Horsetrack owner. Having won the Edinburgh Revue Stand Up Comedy Award at his time at University, Joe went on to run, perform and host various comedy nights throughout Scotland, including the famous Drouthy Cobbler in Elgin ("Exceptional timing and wit...very accomplished" - Boxdust)

This year we have two entry methods: Free & Unticketed or Pay What You Can
Free & Unticketed: Entry to a show is first-come, first served at the venue - just turn up and then donate to the show in the collection at the end.
Pay What You Can: For these shows you can book a ticket to guarantee entry and choose your price from the Fringe Box Office, up to 30 mins before a show. After that all remaining space is free at the venue on a first-come, first-served bases. Donations for walk-ins at the end of the show.
