Family workshop suitable for children aged 3-7 years with parents or carers. We involve everyone: skip, clap and march together to traditional Scottish music, under the chandeliers. Enjoy discovering very simple (often simplified) dances that you might find at a ceilidh or Scottish country dance, celebrating the social aspects of dancing with a partner. CeilidhKids is all about fun for all generations. Hugely popular with local families, now it's your turn.

'CeilidhKids at the Fringe never disappoints! A fantastic event for all children under about 7 years with their families. A great event where everyone can join in, and is suitable for people of all abilities - even very little people (eg 2 year olds) should be able to enjoy this. Always run by brilliant and enthusiastic people. Sometimes gets busy, but that's because it's so brilliant, and I've never seen it so bad that there is nowhere to dance. Highly recommended.'

Very basic but hugely fun Ceilidh dancing for all the family. Not strictly theatre, but a fabulous way to start the day and burn off energy for three to seven year-olds (and carers!) before sitting in dark room watching something more cerebral. Traditional music – but clever adaptations of the basic dances.

Great fun.... and better exercise than any gym! Had to head off in the middle of a dance to take my toddler to the toilet and then come back.... Caroline didn't bat an eyelid! (Cath Coutts Audience review 7/8/18)
