The Free Edinburgh Fringe Festival will be back in 2021!

We'll have more details here as soon as we know more about what shows can be produced for Fringe 2021

Until then stay safe and well, and we hope to see you all back in Edinburgh next August

The Free Fringe Festival in 2020 was online...

...for one year only, our Edinbrugh venues were replaced by a daily programme of LIVE online Fringe Shows, bringing the biggest laughs direct to your living rooms!

Next year, don't worry, next we'll be back in Edinburgh - renewed for what we hope will be an amazing return of the Fringe.

We are the biggest comedy producer at the Fringe - and don't forget we also have a huge programme of cabaret, theatre, music, children's shows and more.

Best in Free: Best of the Fringe

With award winners and nominees, over many years we've had critically acclaimed Fringes, alongside a bucket-load of four and five-star reviewed shows.

This means our shows are free and also some of the best of the Fringe - while we allow performers and audiences experience the freedom too, with a chance to experiment and enjoy, just without the huge costs! Just what the Fringe should be!

Pay What You Want

All of our shows can be watched for free - but the only way the performers make money is by your donations, and at this time these donations are more important to them than ever.

And this is the same for out online shows where you can donate via Paypal or get a Pay What You Want ticket - or in Edinburgh where you make donations direct to the performers - please give generously if you can!

Several venues were refurbished to make your free Fringe viewing all that more pleasurable - Our music stages returned, and our courtyards were buzzing with the Fringe atmosphere you have come to expect from the Fringe's largest free show provider.

And though we can't do that this year...
