The Big Free Festival Launch show - in aid of Mama Biashara

Come and celebrate the start of this year's Free Festival with us, and support a great cause.

This show has the pick of acts from across our venues, in a launch show attended by press, VIPS and performers who all want to see what the Free Festival has to offer this year.

Get a sample of what's on, before the Free Fest starts the following day with a top selection of Comedy, Cabaret and Theatre from our programme on the 'Live' Stage at the Three Sisters Bar.

Always a sell-out show, get your tickets soon - they will be on sale very soon!

Like many of our shows this year, this show is Pay-What-You-Want and you choose your ticket price to come along. All tickets, and the collection at the end of the show go to charity Mama Biashara.

Mama Biashara works with the poorest and most marginalised people in Kenya and give grants to set up small, sustainable businesses that bring financial independence and security. They offer training and employment in everything from phone repairs to manicures and they have built a children’s home, which they still support. They’ve created water-harvesting solutions for drought-devastated areas and are starting to use the Mama B method to help those fleeing FGM, forced marriage, sex slavery and child rape.

This year we have two entry methods: Free & Unticketed or Pay What You Can
Free & Unticketed: Entry to a show is first-come, first served at the venue - just turn up and then donate to the show in the collection at the end.
Pay What You Can: For these shows you can book a ticket to guarantee entry and choose your price from the Fringe Box Office, up to 30 mins before a show. After that all remaining space is free at the venue on a first-come, first-served bases. Donations for walk-ins at the end of the show.
