The world today is a frightening bewildering place for many… one man stands alone in trying to work it all out… in one hand a bottle of Rosé wine… in the other hand… the truth!

Actually, sorry, it’s just a microphone… sorry, always get truth and microphones mixed up… but… yes, it’s still that one guy… that’s right… the beardy sweaty guy in the cardigan… over there!

PETER E DAVIDSON (BBC NI’s The Blame Game & Live at The Sunflower) returns with his second full length show ‘Fopical.’

Having come to terms with his rose wine addiction following his 2017 show ‘Guns N’ Rosé’, Peter has set his sights on a bigger topic… coming to terms with the modern world… Unfortunately he has timed it just as the world has decided to go unbelievably batsh*t crazy.

So if you’re tired of fretting about nuclear Armageddon, economic and constitutional crisis as well as the ever looming spectre of global terrorism… and you just want to shuffle back and forth in your duffle coat to some fey indie bands… well, then this is the show for you!

The show looks at all important issues of the day; that sense of impending doom when the BBC breaking news logo appears on your newsfeed, the interminable pointlessness of Furbies, the extra marital bliss of ordering late night Dominos pizza… and most important of all; the appropriate or inappropriate sounds to make when receiving a massage.

Yes. This year is about the big ones.

As a member of sketch group Love the Concept PETER E DAVIDSON has performed at the Dublin, Belfast and Edinburgh fringe. As a writer he's written for BBC Radio 4, 4 Extra, Ulster and BBC NI and has appeared as a guest panellist on BBC's 'The Blame Game' as well as ‘Live at The Sunflower with Shane Todd.’ He is one of the regular host of Masons Comedy Club. This is his new 2018 show following his successful 2017 debut show "Guns N' Rose" which played at the Belfast Comedy festival, Edinburgh Fringe and in Brussels as part of Arts Council NI’s Culture Night Showcase.

“Peter Davidson’s turn is another highlight” – Voicebox review, Culture NI.

“His writing and comedic touches were spot on” – Derry Journal
